TRI was formed very recently, around the former Xynoptic and Infernal Gamers talent Claudio 'POKER' Grech. The team competed in the MCG CoD4 Night Cup on the 15th of February, having defeated xG fairly easily, but got in the way of eventual winners switchback in the second round. TRI lost, but not without taking a map off the blakz's hotshots.
The team decided to stay together, yet collectively went on to amend the lineup for the sake of progression.First, Justin 'mica' Micallef was removed to make space for the well known lunatic, Clyde 'syt3x' Saliba, formerly of dOUBTFUL and SAS. A further roster change was in the removal of Neil 'XmiT' Bugeja, also formerly of dOUBTFUL, to induct the longtime EXG player Christian 'skullz' Farrugia.
A lineup of this calibre could very well spell a new top team within the Maltese CoD4 scene. Wishing good luck to the team, and hopefully we will see them prove themselves in the upcoming wave of foreign online competitions, as well as any local tournaments that might arise.
